Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is in trouble. A complaint has been lodged against him at Worli Police Station in Mumbai. The case is related to the advertisement of a detergent. Due to this advertisement of Akshay, #BoycottNirma is trending on social media too, in which people are seen appealing to boycott this brand.
Actually, Akshay did advertise a detergent in which he appeared in the role of Maratha king. The king and his army are welcome from the war, but when the wife of a warrior complains of dirty clothes, the king and army are shown washing their clothes. In the advertisement, Akshay is seen washing clothes in a bucket while dancing as a king.
The complaint states that this advertisement of Akshay is hurting Maratha sentiments and respect. There is currently no response from the actor to this complaint.
