Lakshmireddy Srinu, a man who was identified, suffered a heart attack while watching the film.
According to a report from India Today, Lakshmireddy Srinu collapsed while watching “Avatar: The Way of Water” in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district. His younger brother rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival. Lakshmireddy Srinu is survived by a son and a daughter.
In a similar incident, another man had died from “over-excitement” while watching the first “Avatar” film in 2010. According to a report from Agence France Presse, the man had a history of high blood pressure. The doctor who examined him later revealed that the cause of death was “over-excitement from watching the movie.”
Bernard Channing, a 77-year-old British man, was on vacation in Thailand and decided to watch the recently released film “Anabelle Comes Home.” Tragically, when the movie ended and the lights were turned on, the woman sitting next to him noticed that he had passed away.
Upon discovering that Bernard Channing had passed away, the woman shouted for help and called emergency services. Despite their efforts, he was declared dead at the venue. Emergency services covered his body and then loaded it into an ambulance for transportation.
Bernard Channing’s body was transported to the hospital to determine the cause of death. The woman who had been sitting next to him was understandably shaken by the incident.
