According to the Indian Express report, SS Rajamouli’s film has broken the record of Aamir Khan’s 2009 romantic-comedy film 3 Idiots in terms of box office collections in Japan. In terms of earnings, RRR has now surpassed 3 idiots.
It is believed that SS Rajamouli and his team have done a lot of publicity for their blockbuster film RRR in Japan. The film has grabbed a lot of attention from the Japanese audience. If reports are to be believed, in the last 17 days in Japan, more than 1.2 lakh people have gone to theaters to watch this blockbuster Indian film.

According to media outlets, Rajamouli’s RRR has managed to collect around Rs 10.3 crore from the theaters within three weeks. Since its release in Japan, it has surpassed Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s blockbuster film 3 Idiots, which earlier earned around Rs 9.51 crore (JPY 170 million).
As RRR movie is still earning money, it is Rajamouli’s second hit film in Japan. Earlier, the Japanese audience had liked Bahubali: The Conclusion. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati were in the lead roles in this film.

According to reports, the final part of Bahubali ran for more than 100 days in Japanese cinemas, and the film earned a whopping 300 million in Japanese currency. But, it still failed to break the collection record of superstar Rajinikanth’s 1995 film Muthu, which was directed by KS Ravikumar.
The film Muthu became the highest grosser of Indian films in Japan with 400 million Japanese currency. Now it has to be seen whether SS Rajamouli’s RRR can break this record in the coming days or not.
