Bollywood actor R Madhavan’s film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ has been released after a long wait, which was being discussed for a long time.
R Madhavan himself has directed this film and along with him stars like Simran, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajit Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Sam Mohan, Misha Ghoshal have acted in this film. The acting of each star is so serious and impressive that the audience could not take their eyes off the screen even for a moment. The film is based on the life of Padma Bhushan awardee rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan.
The film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is the story of the injustice done to one of India’s best space scientists. The story begins from there, when Nambi Narayanan was young and was recognized for his skills. He studies at Princeton and gets a job at NASA. After this, despite the low salary, he comes to ISRO. Vikram Sarabhai recognizes his talent, and he has seen to be working with APJ Abdul Kalam.
Shahrukh is interviewing Nambi Narayanan in the film and on the pretext of this interview, the whole film progresses. The story goes on to tell how he built a rocket to carry satellites into space. Due to the rocket engine made by him, India was not fascinated by other countries, but he was tainted of being a traitor, the inhuman torture of the police was right, and the people despised him. Nambi Narayanan gets arrested and tortured on a false charge of selling rocket science technology. Seeing the scenes of torture and social contempt inside the prison, one gets goosebumps.
R Madhavan has played the role of Nambi in such a way that it seems that Nambi himself is on the screen. The entire film is on Madhavan’s shoulders. Simran as Nambi’s wife, Sam Mohan as Unni, Rajit Kapoor as Sarabhai, Gulshan Grover as Kalam have done amazing work. It is a must-watch film in today’s era. This film proved that Madhavan is as good an actor as he is a great director.
