Randeep Hooda is making headlines for his remarkable transformation as he diligently prepares for his role in the film “Veer Savarkar.” His commitment to embodying his characters has been evident in previous projects, including the acclaimed film “Sarabjit,” in which he starred alongside Aishwarya Rai, who portrayed Sarabjit’s sister.
However, Hooda revealed that his connection with Sarabjit’s actual sister surpassed that with Aishwarya. He even had the solemn duty of lighting Sarabjit’s sister’s funeral pyre.
In an interview with Humans Of Bombay, Randeep Hooda discussed his experience working with Aishwarya, who portrayed Sarabjit’s sister with grace and dedication. Although their on-screen interactions were limited, Hooda acknowledged Aishwarya’s commitment to her role, yet humorously remarked that despite efforts to appear genuine, she seemed “unreal.”
Hooda further revealed his deeper bond with Sarabjit’s real family, particularly with his sister, expressing regret over not being able to spend more time with her. Reflecting on her nurturing nature towards Sarabjit’s children and their subsequent well-being, Hooda emphasized the impact the film had on his real-life connections, highlighting the lasting influence of portraying such emotionally resonant characters.
