In an interview with PTI, Ranbir Kapoor discussed his character in the film. The actor said, “It’s a new territory for me. It’s a crime drama and a father-son story. It’s something the audience doesn’t expect from me. It has shades of grey. I am looking forward to it.”
In the film, while Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s pairing will be seen for the first time, on the other hand, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor will be seen working together after ‘Race 3.’ Both actors will be playing important roles in this upcoming action entertainer. This film is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi film. Previously, the director helmed ‘Kabir Singh,’ starring Shahid Kapoor.
‘Animal’ will knock on the doors of cinemas on 11th August. The film will be released worldwide in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ will face a tough competition at the box office with Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2.’
