Bollywood’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, Tamil’s ‘Vikram’ and Telugu’s ‘Major’ were released in cinemas on Friday. While Akshay Kumar’s film flopped badly at the box office on the first day, on the other hand, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ made a record of the highest earnings. If we talk about Adivi Shesh’s ‘Major’, then the first day collection of the film made in Mahesh Babu’s production was the least. It is hoped that after theater release of Samrat Prithviraj and Major, they will be released on OTT soon.
Major OTT release
Adivi Shesh Starrer has been released in major cinemas. According to reports, Major’s digital streaming rights are with Netflix. Major’s team had recently announced that the film would hit OTT 60 days after its theatrical release. So we can expect the film to be released around the first week of August. There is no update yet on the release date of Major’s OTT.
Vikram OTT release
If Kamal Haasan, Vijay Setupati and Fahad Fasil talk about the OTT release of starrer ‘Vikram’, then the makers have sold the rights of all the languages of the film, to the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar. However, the makers have not yet announced the release date of the film on OTT.
Samrat Prithviraj OTT release
The digital rights of the movie ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar and Sonu Sood have been given to Amazon Prime Video. Speaking of the release date, the film is expected to be released on Amazon Prime Video on or after July 29, 2022. However, according to the movie’s release in theaters, the makers will decide the OTT release date. If the film does well at the box office, it will be released later on OTT.
