This week on August 19, the pair of Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap are going to return to the silver screens with the film ‘Dobaara’. It is a thriller film, in which actors like Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati, Rahul Bhatt are going to be seen in the lead roles.
Hollywood movies
Hollywood’s four big bang films are going to be released this week. While the story of three of these films will revolve around horror, thriller and mystery, one will be a children’s animated film. ‘Nope’, ‘Orphan – First Kill’, ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ and ‘Ekans – Snakes Awake’ all four are going to release in theaters on August 19.
Two Marathi movies
Two films in Marathi language are going to be released this week. One of which is based on the life of notorious gangster Arun Gawli and is the second part of the 2015 film ‘Dagdi Chaal’. Directed by Chandrakant Kanse, ‘Dagdi Chaal 2’ will feature Ankush Chaudhary, Makarand Deshpande and Pooja Sawant in lead roles. ‘Dagdi Chaal 2’ is an action film, which is going to hit the theaters on August 18. Apart from this, the film ‘Takatak 2’ in Marathi is also releasing on August 18. It is the story of three college friends, who are trying to carry on their love life amidst laughter.
One in Tamil
In the third week of August, only one Tamil language film is going to knock in theaters. The film ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ is scheduled to release on August 18. South superstar Dhanush will be seen in the lead role in this comedy-drama film ‘Thiruchitambalam’ directed by director Mithran R Jawahar. Apart from him, strong actor Prakash Raj, actress Rashi Khanna are also in important roles in this film.
Four Malayalam movies
Malayalam language films are going to be in full swing this week. With the release of four films, the Malayalam industry is going to explode this time. ‘Solamante Theneechakal’, ‘Simon Daniels’, ‘Mike’ and ‘Peace’ will be released in theatres. ‘Solamante Theneechakal’ is all set to hit the theaters on August 18 and the rest three on August 19 to entertain the audience.
Six Telugu movies
Telugu movies are all set to hit the theaters this week for a six. ‘Tees Maar Khan’, ‘Commitment’, ‘Matarani Mounamidi’, ‘Bujji Ila Ra’, ‘Na Venta Paduthunna Chinnadevadamma’ and ‘Am Aah’ will release on August 19.
Two films in Kannada and one film in Gujarati
Kannada language films like ‘Monsoon Raga’ and ‘Love 360’ will be released in theatres. This week only one Gujarati film ‘Fakt Mahilao Mate’ is being released, in which Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen showing the power of his performance.
Two in Punjabi
This week also only two films are going to be released in Punjabi language. Where on one side Neeru Bajwa, Amy Virk and Amardeep Singh’s trio will add romance to the screen with the film ‘Long Laachi 2’. On the other hand, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is going to make her debut in the world of cinema with ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’. Both the films will release in theaters on August 19.
Horror and musical drama will clash in Bengali
Two Bengali language films will also be released this week, one of which is horror and the other is a musical drama film. Both ‘Kalkokkho’ and ‘Bismillah’ are going to hit the theaters on August 19.
