Karthik Aryan is making his move in Bollywood fast. He has given many hit films one after the other. Now he have many offers. Karthik started his career with the film ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnama’. This was followed by his film ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnama 2’. But Karthik got a big break after the film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.
Karthik had no god father in the film industry. He set his journey alone. His journey was not easy. Karthik has revealed this in the social media blog ‘Humans of Bombay’. In this blog, Karthik Aryan told that many times he was sent from outside the studio without audition.
The post that Karthik Aryan has shared reads, ‘I was born in Gwalior. The parents were in the medical field and I was going to do engineering. But in ninth grade, I saw Baazigar and I knew that I wanted to be on the other side of the screen. ‘
‘I didn’t know about my parents’ reaction, so I decided that I would study in Gwalior till 12th and go to Mumbai for college. Luckily I got a college in Navi Mumbai and I started living in hostels there. I did not have any contacts related to the acting line, so I used to type ‘Actor Needed’ keywords on Facebook. ‘
‘I used to travel for about 6 hours three-four days a week for auditions. At that time, I used to get rejected from outside the studio. Even after that I had hope. Soon I started getting ads for a few seconds. On that occasion, I took a flat in Andheri with 12 people. I had limited money, I could not get my photoshoot done. That is why I used to send my photo from the group photo to the agents.
‘Many times I even bunked my college for these auditions and my parents knew nothing about it. Once I saw an advertisement for a film audition and thought of going there. I liked auditions and they auditioned me many times. When I got the role, I called my mother, she could not believe it at all.
After nearly two and a half years of struggle, I could see my dream come true. I did not have much achievements after ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnama’. My mother was adamant that I complete my degree. I gave my exams and people sitting in the hall started taking pictures of me. This all changed after ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. When I went to Gwalior I was called as the chief guest in my school and the children were taking my name, but what I have today would not have happened if I had not believed. I am proud of where I am right now. ‘
