The first look of the film ‘Shershaah‘ has been released. Film being made on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, the hero of Kargil War. Bollywood actor Siddharth Malhotra is going to play the role of Shaheed Vikram Batra in the film.
Film maker Karan Johar has shared the film’s poster on Twitter. Karan shared two posters of the film, in which Siddharth is seen among the soldiers in uniform.
Along with the poster, Karan wrote, We bow our heads in respect & pay an ode to the brave journey of the Kargil War hero through our film..

‘Shershaah’ is a biopic of Captain Vikram Batra of Kargil War. Kiara Advani is also going to play an important role in the film along with Siddharth Malhotra. Vishnu Vardhan has directed this film.
The film ‘Shershaah‘, which is being made under the banner of Dharma Production, viewers will get to watch the heroic saga of Captain Vikram Batra, the real hero of Kargil War. The film is going to be released on 3 July.
The title of this film is named after Captain Vikram Batra. Actually, due to the bravery of Captain Batra, his companions used to call him ‘Shershaah’.
Please tell that during ‘Kargil War’ Captain Vikram Batra and his small team were given the responsibility to liberate the most important 5140 peak from the Pak Army just above the Srinagar-Leh road. Despite being a very inaccessible area, Captain Batra along with his comrades took this peak in their possession at 3:30 am on 20 June 1999.
During this time, when Captain Vikram Batra called his victory declaration through the radio ‘Yeh Dil Maange More‘, not only the Indian Army but the courage of Captain Vikram Batra started to be discussed in the whole country. During this, along with Vikram’s code name ‘Shershaah’, he was also given the nickname ‘Sher of Kargil‘ .
Captain Vikram Batra was posthumously awarded India’s highest gallantry award ‘Paramveer Chakra’.
