New Delhi: The Bachchan family is elated as Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, is set to make his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film, “The Archies,” releasing on Netflix on December 7, 2023. Ahead of the film’s streaming debut, a star-studded premiere night was hosted, attended by industry luminaries, including Jaya Bachchan and former actress Tina Ambani.
Jaya Bachchan, accompanied by Tina Ambani, graced the premiere of Agastya Nanda’s debut film, “The Archies,” on December 5, 2023. The veteran actress, dressed in an off-white kaftan set adorned with golden sequins, posed for the paparazzi alongside her family. Despite a momentary outburst when photographers urged her to pose, Jaya Bachchan eventually joined the Bachchan-Nanda family for a collective photo.

Agastya Nanda, choosing to follow in the footsteps of his grandparents, will be making his debut in “The Archies,” a film set in the 1960s, exploring themes of friendship, love, and heartbreak among teenagers from the same school.
