Leap year and Jab We Met
Kareena Kapoor and Shahir Kapoor’s superhit film ‘Jab We Met’ was released in 2007. Hollywood copied this film and made a film called ‘Leap Year’. Which released in 2010. The story of ‘Leap Year’ was completely similar to ‘Jab We Met’ but the film makers refused to accept it.
A common man and A Wednesday
A Wednesday was a thriller film released in 2008 co-written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film had Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. This was followed by a film in Hollywood in 2013 called ‘A Common Man’. The film was a remake of ‘A Wednesday’.
Fear and Darr
Under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan as a lover who wants to marry his girlfriend under all circumstances. ‘Darr’ was released on 24 December 1993. Three years later, a film called ‘Fear’ was made in Hollywood. This Hollywood movie also featured Love Triangle.
Just go with it and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif first appeared together in 2005. The film was titled Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Katrina played Salman’s girlfriend in the film, but Salman was in love with Sushmita Sen. The Hollywood film Just ‘Go With It’ featured Jennifer Aniston’s character as Sushmita Sen’s character in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
