Had seen Part-2, now Kantara Part-1 will come
On the occasion of completion of 100 days from the release of South’s film ‘Kantara’ released in September 2022, Rishabh Shetty announced the second part of this film. Rishabh Shetty said, “What you saw now was actually part 2, part 1 will come next year. The idea came to me while shooting for my film because the history of Kantara is much deeper.”
Director will bring prequel as sequel
This means that Rishab Shetty will now come up with a prequel to his film. Explain that the prequel is done when the story behind a film or any of its characters is to be shown in a different film in a more detailed manner. The same is going to happen with Rishabh Shetty’s film. He will release the first part of the film as the second part.
Research work on ‘Kantara-2’ continues
Rishabh Shetty said, “As of now we are almost half way done with gathering more details. As the research is still going on, it is too early to say anything about the film.” The film Kantara is directed by Rishabh Shetty and he has also played the lead role in this film.
