The actress has told about this incident by posting on social media. She wrote in the tweet that at 8.15 pm she had caught this cab from Bandra Kurla Complex.
How did this whole issue start?
Manava told that as soon as she sat in cab, the driver started talking to someone on the phone, which she protested. On refusing, the driver got enraged and broke the red light. When stopped by the police, the actress asked the officers to let the vehicle go as the vehicle had already been photographed.
Tried to stop the car in the dark
The anger of this driver got further enraged, and he started abusing the actress. Manava told that the driver told him – will you pay 500 rupees? On being told that he was talking on the phone while driving, the driver said – rukh tereko dikhata hoo. The driver tried to stop the vehicle in a dark area near Jio Garden of BKC, after which the actress asked to go to the police station.
When the matter started gaining more momentum, Manava started shouting, and then two bikers and a rickshaw driver surrounded the Uber cab and pulled Manava out of the car. Manava has shared this entire incident on her social media account and has written that she is safe but is very scared after this incident.
