Tandav released on Prime Video is accused of hurting religious sentiments. This is the first web series of Ali Abbas Zafar. With an apology, Zafar made it clear that his series was a ‘fictional story’ or fiction.
According to the ABP report, FIR was lodged against producer Ali Abbas Zafar, actor Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover and India Content Head of Prime Video, Aparna Purohit at Rabupura police station in Noida. The makers of the web series have been accused of trying to spoil the image of Uttar Pradesh.
Shalabh Mani Tripathi, media advisor to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, tweeted that the price of hurting religious sentiments has to be paid.

According to the report of Hindustan Times , an FIR has also been registered against the web series in Mumbai and Lucknow.
Tandav web series is being accused of hurting religious sentiments. The Imdb rating of this series has also decreased. On social media, people are demanding to ban this series.
