Alka Yagnik, the classical singer of Hindi cinema, is strongly against looters who remix the songs. She says that there is no creativity in today’s music. In a meeting with a one of the media house, she says, “Musicians of the movies take our songs and remix them and garner applause when it gets hits. Most say that their song became a hit, while the song was already a hit. That’s why they remixed with it. Their songs have similar condition to fast food. Come and go. Where is the creativity in it? They should make their songs and then make them hit. ”
Asked who is responsible for this trend of music? Alka says, “I don’t hold anyone responsible for this. Today’s musicians say that people like (remix) songs, whereas listeners say that we do not have to listen to such dirty music. So who is guilty of these, it is very difficult to tell. I hope that soon there will be a return of raga based songs in Indian music. ”
The eighth season of reality show ‘Saregamapa Little Champs’ also stars singer Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan along with judge Alka Yagnik. On discussing this confluence of notes, she says, “For the first time in 30 years of history, we are judging a reality show together on TV. We have worked together for a long time, standing together and singing. Now technology has moved forward. Earlier, there were live recordings. Now that we are together, the old memories will also be refreshed. “
