People have been protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh for almost 40 days. The central government has kept silence on this, while the opposing parties are not deterring from politics. Recently, Pakistani-origin Canadian writer and famous thinker Tariq Fateh shared a video on social media to which Javed Akhtar replied to him.
Actually on Saturday, Tariq Fateh shared a video from his Twitter account. In this video, many people are seen dancing on stage in the burqa. Whether it is female or male, it is a little difficult to identify it. A woman is also sitting in the middle of them. Sharing it, Tariq Fatah has asked whether this video is of Shaheen Bagh or not.

Recently Tariq Fateh said in an interview that citizens opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act are obsessed with separatist mentality. Muslim women who opposed this first sought independence from the burqa.
Let me tell you that Javed Akhtar’s wife and actress Shabana Azmi was injured in a road accident. The incident happened just the day after Javed Akhtar’s birthday.
