Deepika Padukone, the heroine number one of Hindi cinema, is as much a passionate actress as she is. At the trailer launch of her next film Chhapak, she was weeping while talking about the film, this time seeing her career journey in front of her. However, on the other side of shooting the show, when she arrived to spend time with some of the strong actresses of regional cinema, her dignity was different.
It happened that Deepika was on the sets of a dance reality show in connection with the promotion of her film Chhapak. The contestants of the show did a shocking job to welcome Deepika Padukone. These dancers had prepared extensively for their dance performances on some of Deepika’s hit songs such as Dhoom Tana, Main Lovely Ho Gayi Yaar, Manwa Lage, Deewani Mastani and Ghoomar. She became emotional after seeing her own career run in place in front of her again and tears came out of her eyes.
When asked the reason for these tears, Deepika says, ‘I have worked hard in my career so far, without ceasing, without any tiredness. I never looked back and saw how many milestones I have crossed during this time. Everything I have done has been done with complete honesty and discipline. Seeing this offer of these people here on this platform, my old memories come back.

Apart from this, Deepika also spent time with regional cinema’s three big stars Nitya Menon, Sonali Kulkarni and Sonam Bajwa. These actresses said during their conversation that they liked Deepika Padukone’s character in the film Chhapak’s story and the trailer of the film.
Significantly, Deepika Padukone’s film Chhapak is directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is releasing on January 10. However, just before its release, the film seems to be stuck in legal trouble. This film of Deepika has been accused of theft of the story. Actually a writer named Rakesh Bharti has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. Rakesh alleges that the film is inspired by the story he has written and hence he should be given credit as a writer.
