While narrating the story of his first film, Rajkummar Rao said – Two days after the shooting of Love Sex and Dhokha I met Dibakar Banerjee and he told me that you know that there is a scene in the film in which you have to be nude. It took me a while to understand what he was saying and after that I said yes, it is part of my work. After this I thought that I would have to tell my parents and family now.
Rajkumar Rao has further said- ‘I was a bit nervous initially. I told them that I never told you that I had a film. My family was very happy to hear this and after that, I said that I have to be nude in the last scene of the film. They said to his surprise, what? Then I said I might have to be nude. After this, I explained that I only have to be nude from the back and not from the front. Hearing this, they agreed but did not talk too much about it.
