Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan 7’ has been in the news since its inception. Gauri Khan returned to the coffee couch after 17 years on Thursday. Gauri Khan, interior designer and a wife of actor Shah Rukh Khan, appeared in the 12th episode of the seventh season of Karan Johar’s chat show with Maheep Kapoor and Bhawana Pandey, during which she spoke about her son Aryan Khan’s drug case.
Actually, last year, Aryan Khan was arrested by the Mumbai Police on suspicion of carrying drugs on a cruise ship in Mumbai. He spent a few weeks in jail and was eventually released on bail due to lack of evidence against him. Now Karan Johar talks about Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s arrest and how his family dealt with it at the time, before Maheep Kapoor and Bhawana Pandey arrived at the start of the show.
Karan told Gauri, ‘It’s been a tough time for you, not only professionally but personally for the family. You all came out of this so strong as a family. I know it hasn’t been easy. I know you as a mother, and we are all members of the same family. I feel like I am your children’s godparent too. It has not been easy, but Gauri I have seen you come out of this stronger than ever. When families go through something like this, what do you say about your way of handling difficult times?’
To which Gauri Khan replied, ‘Yes, as a family, we have gone through it… I think as a mother, as a parent, whatever we have been through, Nothing can be worse than that. But today, where we stand as a family, I can say that we are in a good place where we feel love from everyone. I feel so blessed for all our friends and so many people we didn’t know, their messages and so much love. And I will say that I am grateful to all those people who supported us during this time.’
