Actor Prateek Gandhi will soon be seen playing the character of Mahatma Gandhi on screen. Actually, Applause Entertainment has announced to make a biopic on Gandhi’s life. The time of Indian independence will be brought to life by depicting the great freedom fighters in this biopic. Let us tell you that Prateek is especially known for ‘Scam 1992 – Harshad Mehta Story’.
The series will be based on the books of Ramachandra Guha
This multi-season series will be based on the writings of renowned historian and author Ramachandra Guha. It will be taken from two of his famous books, ‘Bharat-Gandhi Se Pehel’ and ‘Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World’. The series will be produced to global standards for audiences across the globe. It will be shot in many different places in India and around the world. Applause Entertainment is delighted to have cast Prateek Gandhi. Regarding the character of Mahatma Gandhi, Prateek Gandhi says, ‘I have a strong belief in Gandhian philosophy and his values. Unknown aspects will be shown
The series will trace the story of Mahatma Gandhi from his early days, to his work in South Africa and then to the struggle in India. Primarily, this series will depict those stories of Mahatma Gandhi, about which little is known. An attempt will be made to show those aspects which played a major role in making young Gandhi a Mahatma.
