A road will soon be christened in ‘Andrews Ganj’ , one of the most posh areas of South Delhi, named after the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput . The municipal corporation has also given approval for this proposal. Corporation officials gave information about this on Thursday.
In fact, in September 2020, Congress councillor in South Delhi Municipal Corporation (ADMC), Abhishek Dutt proposed to name a road in ‘Andrews Ganj’ area after Sushant. The councillor sent this proposal to the naming and re-naming committee of the civic body. Now after stamping on this proposal, the name of ‘Road No. 8 ‘ will be ‘Sushant Singh Rajput Marg’ .
In the written proposal sent to the committee, the councilor wrote that there are a lot of people belonging to Bihar in the road number 8 of ‘Andrews Ganj’ area of South Delhi. Therefore, the road between ‘Andrews Ganj’ to ‘Indira Camp’ should be named ‘Sushant Singh Rajput Marg’.
