Review: This is the first Hindi film of director Mikhail Musale, who won the National Award in Gujarati films. This film, which gave a message with entertainment, made with good intention, but the problem is that he could not serve anything new. Many films have been made in Bollywood on the success of the successful businessman and the director has also added issues such as sex issues to be considered taboo. Similar to the drama and climax we saw some time ago in ‘Khandani Shafakhana’.

The story begins on an interesting note, where a struggling Gujarati businessman Raghuveer Mehta has so far failed to implement 13 different business ideas. His flamboyant, beautiful and well-educated wife Rukmini (Mouni Roy) accompanies him at every step, but he is also responsible for the younger son. Raghuveer’s cousin Vanraj (Sumit Vyas) and his father’s elder brother (Manoj Joshi) give him financial assistance, but do not let go of a single opportunity to humiliate him by counting his failure. That’s when Raghuveer gets a chance to go to China with Vanraj. There he meets Tanmay Shah (Paresh Rawal), a well-known successful businessman of his own community, who gives him a Gurmantra of business that Raghuveer can prove himself.

He begins work on a product Tiger Soup to the satisfaction of the sex life and joins the jaded but low-profile sexologist Doctor Vardi to make it a success. Will Raghuveer be able to succeed in the sex product business this time? Or will the outcome be as usual? You will have to watch the film to know this.

Direction and Acting:

The film’s first half is weak. While the movie forwards, where many characters do not understand the rationale. The film looks good in pieces. The story takes its pace in the second half. The director has to praise that he has retained Gujarati flavor throughout the film. Despite the climax being effective, it sounds preppy and is reminiscent of Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Khanadani Shafakhana’.

In terms of performance, no one can point fingers at Rajkummar Rao’s performance. He has done his job in the best way as always. His dialogues in the Gujarati dialect are fun. But the director could not fully cook the character of Mouni Roy. Yes, she is definitely beautiful. Boman Irani has proved to be the life of the film. He has made the character of Doctor Verdi fun with his gestures. It is nice to see Paresh Rawal in the film after a long time. Amaira Dastur has been wasted. The characters of Sumit Vyas and Gajraj Singh should have worked harder.

The song sung by Neha Kakkar, Darshan Rawal and Sachin-Jigar in Sachin-Jigar’s music has been liked by the music lovers ‘Odhni’ and is at number five in Radio Mirchi’s list of Top Twenty. Of the same film, sung by Mika Singh, Nikita Gandhi and Beni Dayal, is on the 11th spot of Radio Mirchi.
