Both have shared a note each, in which almost the same things have been written.
Sharing his note on Twitter, Dhanush wrote, ’18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Dhanush married actor Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth on 18 November 2004 with much fanfare. When Dhanush got married, he was just 23 years old. The two first met in the year 2003 on the sets of a film. Dhanush and Aishwarya have two children named Yatra and Linga.
Dhanush had mentioned his first meeting with Aishwarya in an interview. He had said, ‘My film’ was Kadhal Konde’s first show. We went to see a movie with the whole family. Till the interval, we were hugging each other as we knew that the film was going to be a hit. When the film was over, the cinema owner introduced us to Rajinikanth sir’s daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya. We just said hi to each other and left. The next day, Aishwarya sent me a bouquet and said, Good work. Stay in touch. I took that thing very seriously.
Talking about Dhanush’s career, the actor started his acting career with the film ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’ released in the year 2002. Dhanush’s work in this film was well received by the audience, due to which he became famous among the fans from his first film. After that he acted in many hit films. Dhanush has worked in more than 50 films till now.
Dhanush has also tried his luck in Bollywood. He was seen in the film ‘Raanjhanaa’ in the year 2013. Recently his film ‘Atrangi Re’ has been released. In this film, he has appeared with Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Dhanush’s work in the film was well received.
