Actor Akshay Kumar and actress Kriti Sanon’s much awaited action comedy film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ has a new release date. The earlier release date by the makers of the film has been changed. Now this film will be released on March 18, 2022. That is, Akshay and Kriti will now come to entertain the fans on the festival of Holi. Akshay has announced the date by sharing two new posters of the film.
Akshay Kumar has shared two posters of the film on social media. In one of the posters, Akshay is seen in a deadly avatar with a rifle in his backpack. With a forehead bandana, cool aviators and a buttonless shirt, the superstar looked deadly yet intense. In the second poster, Akshay can be seen sitting on top of a tractor full of weapons.
Actor Akshay Kumar shared the poster on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Action, comedy, romance, drama film coming up on Holi! Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey will hit the theaters on March 18, 2022.”
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Snehal Dabbi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateek Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.
According to media reports, the story of Bachchan Pandey revolves around a gangster. This gangster aspires to become an actor. Kriti Sanon is a journalist who aspires to become a director. The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi and Prateik Babbar. The film is written by Nischay Kutanda and directed by Farhad Samji. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on Christmas 2020 but was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.
